This very traditional Southern sandwich is made with our house Dixieland Cheez Spread, a decadent combination of Smoky Chipotle & Sharp Cheddar Cheeses, fire – roasted sweet Red Peppers and Spices all blended in a creamy Sour Cream dressing. Dressed with sliced Tomatoes and served chilled.

A Southern favourite. A Southern favourite. Slices of tender, oven – fried Buttermilk Chicken topped with a touch of creamy Country gravy and served warm on a soft bread roll.

BOLOGNA SANDWICHES & ROLLS

American deli – style Bologna is made from finely ground pork or beef or a combination of both meats and is then seasoned, cured, and smoked, resulting in a delicious smoothly textured, mildly flavoured sausage. Bologna looks like the Italian mortadella but without any visible lard pieces.

Bologna is used as a luncheon meat in sandwiches and is enjoyed by kids of all ages across America. Throughout Appalachia and the South, the simple yet classic Fried Bologna Sandwich reigns supreme.

An “Old Skool” Southern classic made with a thick slice of pan – fried Bologna, Cheese, sliced Tomatoes, a touch of Sour Cream and seasoned with Cracked Black Pepper. Served on a soft Bread roll. Add a freshly fried Egg for just $2.00 per sandwich.

Old Fashioned Bologna Salad sandwich      $9.00 / 2 for $15.00
Finely chopped Bologna, Cheddar Cheese and sweet Red Peppers are blended with a creamy herbed mayonnaise. Dressed with sliced Tomatoes and served chilled, this is a yummy Southern classic, y’all.

The Palmetto Roll      $9.00 / 2 for $15.00
A classic from South Carolina, the Palmetto state. We spread on our yummy Dixieland Cheez Spread, add a thick slice of pan – fried Bologna, slices of Tomatoes  and a touch of Sour Cream. Served on a soft Bread roll, the Palmetto is just delicious and is our best selling sandwich.

Straight from the 1930’s Great Depression era, this simple, delicious, and economical American classic is still enjoyed today. A hearty stew of Macaroni noodles, Vienna Sausage, tender White Beans, lots of Veggies, chunky Tomatoes, and spices in a rich, flavourful brothy Gravy. Served with your choice of either 2 pieces of soft buttered sandwich Bread or a soft buttered Bread roll for gravy dipping. Don’t let the simplicity of this dish fool you – it’s so yummy and good.

Macaroni n’ Tomatoes      $14.00
A generous helping of Macaroni noodles, ripe Tomatoes (“Maters”), creamy Butter, and select Seasonings in a yummy gravy. This tasty dish is a favorite throughout Appalachia and the South. Simple and so Good. I eat this yummy pasta dish with my family every Wednesday night and we all love it.

This Mac n’ Cheez is so yummy, y’all. Buttered Macaroni noodles, roasted sweet red Peppers and select Spices covered in a rich, creamy Chipotle & Sharp Cheddar Cheese sauce. Straight up Love on a Fork, y’all. Want meaty Mac n Cheez? Add some sliced Vienna Sausage for just $3.00 more.

Chef Gino’s Dixieland Pasta      $16.00
This is our signature dish here at Mason Dixies. A generous portion of buttered Macaroni noodles,  chunks of our homemade Sage Breakfast Sausage, smoky Chipotle & Sharp Cheddar Cheeses and select Seasonings dressed in a rich, creamy Tomato gravy. Y’all come hungry for this one.

COBBLER DESSERTS

OK, y’all…a Cobbler is delicious Southern dessert featuring a rich, buttery cake topped with fruit or other fillings that creates a layer of pudding as it bakes. Cobbler desserts have been around in southern America for a long time; the Oxford Companion to Food dates their inception as far back as the 1850s.

Throughout the South, these yummy Cobblers are served at diners and restaurants, truck stops, barbecue joints, office “Pot luck” lunches and Sunday church socials. It just ain’t the South if there’s no Cobbler on that table, honey.
